Buy Alabama's Best 

The Buy Alabama's Best Program is made up of the Alabama Grocers Association, the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, and the Alabama Food Manufacturers and Producers, representing more than 75 Alabama companies participating in the October Month of Alabama Food promotions.

Some of these are large corporations with hundreds of employees making significant contributions to their local economies. These companies sell not only in Alabama but throughout the Southeast and often nationally or even internationally. 

 Each October, retailers throughout the state participate in special promotions and display contests to promote Alabama products.  Many opportunities for advertising and involvement are available.  In coordination with this program, a portion of all profits from the October Month of Alabama Food benefit the Janie Sims Children's Foundation, which funds research for pediatric cancer.  For more information on this program, please contact the Association Office.
